Inspiration

The scent of orange blossom and snapped green stems evoke the languorous perfume of the bitter orange tree in bloom. A Spanish idyll described in notes of petitgrain, neroli, ylang, orange blossom, and rose, this candle is in fact named after the iconic Spanish Arch, built in 1584, in the Latin quarter of Galway, Ireland.

Imagining the smells that these Spaniards would be familiar with, this candle brings together in present memory the lines of history that link the Galwegians to the Spanish. Thickly rimmed mouth-blown glass is finished with a hand-applied silver opaque finish for a beautiful glow.

Candle weighs 280g with burn time 55-60 hours.
